Bitboy Ben Armstrong jailed following failed livestream of him confronting former business partner

Bitboy had recently been ousted from Hit Network amid alleged controversies of promotion of meme coins, substance abuse, assault, and misappropriation of funds.

Popular crypto influencer Ben Armstrong (AKA Bitboy) has been arrested following a YouTube livestream of his attempt to recover his Lamborghini.

Ben Armstrong jailed

Crypto influencer and co-founder of Hit Network (now Discover Crypto) Ben Armstrong has been arrested and jailed for loitering and assault.

Bitboy had recently been ousted from Hit Network amid alleged controversies of promotion of meme coins, substance abuse, assault, and misappropriation of funds.

Before the YouTube stream, he posted that he was “going live soon from a very special location.”

Less than an hour later, he livestreamed his attempt to confront Carlos Diaz, his former business partner, at his home. He alleged that Diaz was in possession of his Lamborghini. While livestreaming, the police arrived at the scene to search and question him.

During the livestream, Bitboy made several allegations against Diaz saying that his ex-business associate was linked to organised crime, fixing sporting results, and blackmail and extortion attempts.

Gwinnett County Police arrested Armstrong and jailed him on charges of loitering/prowling and the additional charge of “simple assault” by instilling fear in another. He was released on bond of $2,600 as each change carried a $1,300 bond.

After leaving jail, Armstrong took to X mocking the ordeal, sarcastically calling himself a loiterer.

The news of the arrest comes after Bitboy was removed from the Bitboy Crypto YouTube channel and the brand with the same name. The parent company, Hit Network, cited Ben Armstrong’s relapse into substance abuse and damages of various character he had inflicted on employees and community members.
